Porter is hiring for a VP of Product Development!
We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Vice President of Product Development to lead the design, development, and monetization of innovative technology products including Software as a Service (SaaS), Embedded Software / OEM Licensing, API-as-a Product, and White Label Solutions. This role is responsible for delivering scalable, client- and member-facing web, mobile, and AI-based applications that drive business growth and user engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cross-functional product development teams across engineering, design, and
product management.
• Define and execute product strategies for SaaS, embedded software, APIs, and white
label solutions.
• Oversee full product lifecycle from ideation to deployment and monetization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align product vision with business goals and customer
needs.
• Drive adoption and monetization strategies including subscription, usage-based, OEM,
and licensing models.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of web, mobile, and AI-powered applications
• Champion agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous
integration/deployment.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations, especially within AWS
ecosystem.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence.
What you will need:
Required Qualifications
• 10 years of experience in software engineering and product development.
• Proven leadership in developing and deploying:
• SaaS platforms
• Embedded/OEM software
• API products
• White label solutions
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway).
• Strong background in web and mobile application development.
• Experience with AI/ML-based solutions and integrating intelligent features.
• Demonstrated success in product monetization across various models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
