Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile, data-driven marketer to handle everything outside of direct inbound lead qualifications. You will drive lead generation, create compelling content, manage social media, analyze performance, and elevate Porter Capital’s visibility in the factoring and B2B finance space. This role combines creative content work with analytical lead research and reporting. Success in this role will be measured by lead volume, cost efficiency, pipeline contribution, and overall marketing ROI.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to external marketing partners, ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable results
• Research and create professional case studies from funded deals.
• Scrape public sources (Business Journals, Alabama Secretary of State, industry sites) for new business data and use AI/tools to score and prioritize high-potential factoring leads.
• Develop and execute a multi-platform social media content calendar (LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, Reddit).
• Write AI-assisted video scripts and coordinate weekly video creation with the sales team.
• Reach out to industry publications, journalists, and podcasts for PR and features.
• Compile and present comprehensive Marketing Sales performance reports for Monday pipeline meetings (dashboards, insights, wins, and recommendations).
• Monitor overall sales activity metrics (calls, emails, broker outreach) for reporting.
• Design and coordinate gifting campaigns with local partners (e.g., Alabama Goods).
• Create reusable templates for email sequences, texting campaigns, and lead qualification tools to support the Inside Sales role.
• Stay current with digital marketing trends and recommend new tactics to grow the inbound lead pipeline.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of digital marketing, content creation, or data analysis experience.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with social media platforms, Canva/graphic tools, and basic data analysis (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar).
• Experience with public data research / lead generation (ethically sourced).
• Comfortable working with AI tools (ChatGPT, Grok, etc.) for content and analysis.
• Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and meet weekly deadlines.
• Understanding of B2B finance, factoring, or trucking/logistics industries is a big plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
