Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials.
- Manage inventory control through accurate tracking and documentation.
- Perform picking and packing of orders to ensure timely shipping and receiving of products.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing warehouse space for optimal efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline operations and improve workflow.
- Participate in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse distribution processes.
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
- Experience with packaging, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment procedures.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and basic maintenance tasks related to warehouse equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, along with skills in materials handling and heavy lifting.
