Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA and federal construction safety regulations.
- Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction management software to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Manage subcontractor contracts, oversee budgeting processes, and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control, safety standards, and progress against the construction schedule.
- Lead team meetings to communicate project updates, manage crew performance, and resolve on-site issues promptly.
- Oversee construction safety management practices, ensuring all activities comply with OSHA standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing teams in a construction management role within commercial or heavy civil projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Primavera.
- Familiarity with construction estimating software like HeavyBid and proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise multiple crews while maintaining high safety standards on-site.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members effectively.
- Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, construction drawing review, and project scheduling coordination.
- Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) along with construction regulations applicable to commercial projects.
- Ability to operate industry-standard tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary.
