The QA Leader/SQF Practitioner is a key player in the Portco team!
Requirements
- Evaluate, audit, maintain, and monitor all site programs, procedures, practices, and policies that ensure safe practices, SQF (Safe Quality Food) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards;
- Training of quality and SQF and GMP standards;
- Ensure accurate record keeping related to local, state, federal, and SQF requirements;
- Manage Red Tag (Hold and Release) Program;
- Manage Master Sanitation, Chemical Control, and Recall Programs;
- Maintain the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans;
- Oversight of food safety validation and verification for site's Product Development and Realization Program;
- Job approval and quality checks during production for client requirements and SOP;
Competencies:
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively;
- Ability to effectively manage, motivate, and train employees;
- Proficient math skills;
- Able to detect minute visual differences (color, etc.);
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines;
- Ability to be detail orientated;
- Understand and use basic office equipment and programs;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures.
Salary : $29
