This is a full-time on-site position located in Toppenish, WA. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, 7 paid holidays (after 90 days of service), and generous PTO accruals from day one!
Requirements
Job duties included, but not limited to:
Schedules all machines to ensure on time deliveries for customers at the highest rate of production efficiency possible. Provides clear definition of production demand to Plant leadership for manning purposes.
- Works closely with Operations to understand the production work flow and machine capabilities.
- Participates in development of detailed, achievable production schedules, measures and reports performance to schedule.
- Works closely with Sales & Service, Operations and Vendors, to meet customer demand. Supports sales goals, inventory control and capacity forecasting.
- Plans production routing and creates production jobs based on Customer demand requirements.
- Coordinates the acquisition and delivery of materials and components as required to support the production floor.
- Provides accurate promise dates to Service & Sales, tracks the production progress and proactively communicates to the affected internal customers as issues occur.
- Identifies root causes of scheduling problems and corrects them.
- Participates in regular standard rate reviews and updates standards as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required
- Five years of production and scheduling experience within the manufacturing industry.
