Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers with lesson implementation, including preparing materials and setting up activities aligned with curriculum goals.
- Support students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring they engage fully in classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to reinforce literacy, math, and other core subjects, adapting strategies for individual learning styles.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques, creating a safe and respectful environment.
- Help facilitate inclusive activities that promote social-emotional development and encourage positive interactions among students.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or similar environments is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments such as Montessori or traditional settings.
