Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine clients' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific goals and abilities.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve clients' communication and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate with clients' families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Document client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of California.
- Experience in Pediatrics and/or adult populations.
- Experience working in home health or community-based settings preferred.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various client locations across Los Angeles.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pathology Assistant to support our pathology department. The ideal candidate will assist pathologists in the preparation and examination of tissue samples, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment plans. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and physiology, as well as experience working with students and children in educational settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist pathologists with the preparation of specimens for examination.
- Perform gross examinations of surgical specimens and document findings accurately.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and treatment plans.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to aid in the identification of abnormalities.
- Support early intervention strategies for students requiring speech therapy or related services.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students needing specialized support.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
