Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble and install cabinets, shelves, drywall, and other fixtures as needed.
- Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide estimates for project timelines and material costs, managing resources effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a carpenter in residential and commercial construction.
