The Operations Manager is a critical leadership role focused on driving operational excellence across Porta Kleen’s service lines. This position ensures the successful execution of daily operations, enhances workforce and resource efficiency, and upholds the highest standards of safety and customer service to meet both financial and strategic company goals.
What you’ll do as an Operations Manager at Porta Kleen:
- Lead daily operations, including logistics, equipment management, and staffing.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate team members; manage performance and development plans.
- Analyze operational data and implement strategies to improve productivity and service delivery.
- Oversee fleet maintenance and inventory management to minimize downtime.
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Conduct safety meetings and foster a culture rooted in health and safety.
- Coordinate staffing and resource allocation for scheduled work, events, and emergencies.
- May be required to run routes, deliveries, and events as needed.
- Develop and maintain SOPs that drive operational consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales and Procurement to ensure job execution aligns with expectations.
- Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting to align operations with company objectives.
What you’ll need:
- 2-5 years of experience in operations, fleet, or logistics management.
- Familiarity of OSHA, DOT, and environmental compliance.

- Strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel and work outside traditional hours as needed.
