Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with NYS Pre-K
Standards - Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, staff, and families to support each child's growth
- Use developmentally appropriate practices to encourage curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional learning
- Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress
Qualifications:
- NYS Early Childhood or Birth-Grade 2 Teaching Certification (required)
- Experience in early childhood or UPK programs preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development
