We are seeking dedicated individuals for the position of FLOOR WORK. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility's flooring, ensuring a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of various types of flooring, including carpet, tile, and hardwood.
- Operate floor cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums safely and efficiently.
- Inspect floors for damage or wear and report any issues to management.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and ensure all equipment is stored properly after use.
- Assist in setting up or moving furniture as needed for events or maintenance tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
