Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the admissions team to ensure smooth patient intake, registration, and scheduling processes.
Ensure adherence to healthcare policies, JCAHO standards, health regulation policies, and compliance requirements across all operations.
Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient flow within acute care or dental clinics, supporting efficient utilization of resources.
Implement and monitor patient management software systems for appointment scheduling, patient tracking, and data entry accuracy.
Develop training programs for staff on medical terminology, medical administrative support procedures, and customer service excellence.
Handle human resources functions such as staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and managing team dynamics within a healthcare practice setting.
Maintain excellent communication with patients regarding Admissions criteria, insurance information, and healthcare procedures to foster trust and satisfaction.
Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct while reflecting and reinforcing Everwell's values and commitment to the Code of Conduct.
Skills
Extensive experience in medical office management
Strong supervisory skills with proven ability to manage teams effectively in a healthcare setting.

Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, billing processes, and revenue cycle optimization.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records handling, and electronic health record systems for accurate documentation.
Excellent managerial communication skills paired with customer service orientation to support positive patient experiences.
Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments involving acute care while ensuring operational efficiency.
Experience with office management tools such as Microsoft Office for reporting and administrative tasks.
Understanding of healthcare practice management principles including utilization management and JCAHO standards.
