Starting salary $16.50-17.00 with a review after 90 days, all online mandatory training is paid by Port Security Services upon completion
Job Duties:
- Ensure personnel safety of staff, visitors and property
- Respond and investigate appropriately to situations reported
- Check identification, vehicle decals, and badges of persons entering the facility
- Maintain logs and records of occurrences via daily activity reports, crew lists, gate lists, etc.
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
- We have openings at several sites and for varying overnight shifts. Preference will be given to applicants with the most flexibility.
Requirements - Qualified Candidates MUST meet the following requirements:
- Possess a valid/ unexpired Security Officer License
- Possess a valid TWIC card (Transportation Worker's Identification Card, obtained via tsa.gov)
- Minimum of 1 year of prior security experience
- Have a valid/ non-suspended/ unexpired Driver’s License
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience - Higher Education is a plus
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check
- Have basic computer knowledge
