Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Registered Dieticianto work within our Dietary Services Department. In this role, the successful candidate will perform the following duties:
- Clinical nutrition in long-term care and rehabilitation.
- Develop meal plans, RAPS and MDS for residents.
- Assess the dietary and health needs of residents.
- Make recommendations based on weight and lab results.
- Provide nutritional counseling to residents and provide staff education and in-services as needed.
Job Requirements:
- FL RD certification a must!
- At least 1 year experience in a healthcare setting, preferably a skilled nursing facility.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Good decision making and judgement capabilities.
- Detail oriented and organized, with effective time management skills.
- Ability to perform job duties with a high degree of professionalism at all times.
- This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
