The role also involves facilitating discharge planning, connecting patients and families with community resources, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. PRN counselors may work variable hours based on patient census and departmental needs, including evenings or weekends as required.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Mental Health and Psychology for assessment, diagnosis support, and therapeutic intervention.
- Experience in Treatment Planning and Case Management to coordinate services, support continuity of care, and assist with discharge planning.
- Ability in Relationship Counseling to support individuals and families, enhance coping strategies, and address interpersonal concerns.
- Relevant license or eligibility for licensure as a Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) in the State of Florida.
