The Role…
At Port Royale Marina, the Parts & Service Clerk is dedicated to a smoothly running service department. They assist the Service Manager and Assistant Manager with day-to-day operations, and also help make sure that technicians have everything they need to be successful. A strong base in computers and online navigation are critical to success in this roll. This person should be dedicated to their personal and professional growth and willing to learn and expand in all aspects of the marine industry.
Main Duties…
- Answering the phone
- Helping customers & technicians
- Running the cash register
- Filling out and inputting work orders
- Translating customers’ repair issues into standard repair terminology
- Placing & receiving parts order
- Explaining work orders to customers via phone and email
- Restocking the Ships Store
- Allocating parts to work orders
- Helping to keep the department clean and organized
- Operating the tractor to move boats around property
- Other work that the Parts and Service Managers may need help with.

Compensation…
This position requires Saturday and will be a full-time position. Compensation starts at $18.50/hr and can go up based on experience and ability, and this position also has the potential for commission based on performance.
