Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) located in Key West, FL. The role involves delivering exceptional patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, providing wound care, and assisting with patient mobility. Additional responsibilities include developing care plans, educating patients and families on health management, and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of patient care, medication administration, and wound care procedures
- Ability to monitor vital signs and provide accurate documentation
- Proficiency in developing care plans tailored to patients' needs and conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate patients and families
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to work alongside healthcare teams
- Active and unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS or PALS) are a plus
- Experience in home health care services or a similar setting is highly desirable
- Compassion, reliability, and a commitment to patient-centered care
