Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club, part of Heritage Golf Group, is seeking a passionate and service-focused Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. This role supports the Director of Golf in delivering exceptional golf experiences for members and guests while assisting with the daily operations of the golf shop and instructional programs.
The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, and committed to growing the game of golf while providing outstanding service to members and guests.
Experience Required
- PGA Associate or PGA Member preferred (or actively pursuing PGA membership)
- Previous golf operations experience at a private or resort facility preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Passion for teaching and growing the game of golf
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak season
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operations of the golf shop and overall golf operations
- Manage tee sheet activity, check in golfers, and assist with reservations
- Provide golf instruction to members and guests through private lessons and clinics
- Support tournament operations including planning, setup, scoring, and results
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and retail sales in the golf shop
- Oversee outside service staff and coordinate daily golf operations activities
- Maintain practice facilities and assist with member golf programs and events
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all members and guests
Pay: $15.00 per hour
