About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated AM Kennel Technician to join our crew. This role is all about making sure our dogs are safe, happy, and well cared for during their stay. You’ll play a key part in maintaining our high standards and creating a great experience for both pets and their owners.
What You’ll Do
- Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, walking, and exercise
- Keep an eye on each dog’s health, behavior, and overall well‑being
- Assist with grooming tasks to maintain cleanliness and comfort
- Maintain clean, organized kennel areas
- Communicate with pet owners about their dog’s needs and behavior
- Keep accurate records of each dog’s care and routine

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive pet care including feeding, medicating, bathing, and cleaning kennels to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Handle animals safely and confidently using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury or stress.
- Assist with medication administration ensuring accurate dosages and proper documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of animal care activities, including intake, discharge, medication schedules, and behavioral observations.
- Ensure cleanliness of all kennel areas using aseptic techniques to prevent infections and promote animal health.
- Support front desk duties as needed by greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
Requirements
- Previous kennel experience or animal care background preferred; experience working in boarding facilities or shelters is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with pet owners professionally.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
