Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nurse at Port Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, located in Newburyport, MA. The Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans. The Nurse will also educate patients and families about health care needs and assist in maintaining health records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in patient care, including monitoring patients' conditions and providing treatments
- Experience with administering medications and managing medical equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and interact with patients and families
- Knowledge of healthcare protocols, safety regulations, and record-keeping practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Valid state nursing license (RN or LPN) in Massachusetts
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare center is preferred
- BLS/CPR certification is an advantage
