Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms to the highest standards
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational spaces
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing to keep all surfaces looking their best
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort at all times
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to create a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service principles
- Experience managing custodial tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization
