Sportsbook Cashier
General Position Summary
Responsible for efficient and timely exchange of cash or winning tickets for guests and supporting the Sports Betting operation. Provide excellent customer service, selling tickets and ensuring the proper payouts are provided.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience in sports or online gaming highly preferred.
Job Conditions
Conditions include working in a crowded, noisy, smoke-filled environment. Guest interactions may become stressful. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions and working evenings, weekends and holidays, including working a rotating schedule.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to work evenings based on a rotating schedule.

General Position Summary

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
- Follows all Sportsbook rules for games in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Maintains a cash bank, documenting all transactions and balancing the bank at the end of each shift.
- Responsible to properly account for all transactions and necessary paperwork
- Responsible for placing wagers as requested by guests and verifying and processing winning tickets
- Ensures that all information is accurately entered into the till
- Properly processes any voided wagers
- Follows all company policies and procedures
- Effectively and consistently communicates sports betting rules and provides betting assistance to guests in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Remains alert to any peculiar betting patterns as “proxy betting” and report promptly to the Supervisor
- Consistently maintains visibility in guest areas and immediately responds to any guest questions and/or concerns
- Aware of popular lines and odds in the Sportsbook
- Safeguards the companies confidential and privileged information that is obtained as a result of normal working procedures
- Works with the department’s employees to maintain a clean and friendly Sportsbook area
- Performs in a professional manner while actively practicing Superior Customer Service standards
- Assist with stocking department supplies as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Experienced in providing great customer service.
- Ability to listen and solve customer complaints.
