General Position Summary
Performs the count and recording of drop boxes in accordance with policies and procedures and internal controls. Responsible for Count Room operations and personnel.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
Education and/or Experience:
Working conditions include working in a small confined space with other personnel for extended periods of time. Other conditions will also include frequent interruptions, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.

Performs the count and recording of drop boxes in accordance with policies and procedures and internal controls. Responsible for Count Room operations and personnel.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
- Safeguards company assets located within Count Room
- Enforces rules and regulations of Cage Slots Operation consistent with Gaming Ordinance, State Compact, Appendix X & X2, MICS, TICS and employee handbook
- Able to perform all areas of the count room
- Opens and empties contents of the drop boxes (box/bag puller) and sets up the boxes for the count
- Sorts and counts chips and currency contained in drop box (sorter)
- Verifies the first count of the sorter
- Straps the currency (clip & strap station)
- Clears, posts and consolidates Games Summary sheet, reconcile amounts posted to amounts counted (recorder)
- Confirms the physical count (station 2; verifier) to the recorder
- Prepares cash and chips for transfer to Cage (entire team)
- Prepares the package for the Master Gaming summary and Poker summary
- Assigns responsibility for delivery of all documents to Accounting
- Assigns the five count room team member stations (sorter, verifier, recorder, clipper & strapper, and box puller) and works alongside members in one of the capacities
- Maintain a supply inventory
- Assumes responsibility for the count room box key
- Interacts directly with TGC Agent during the shift
- Work closely with other Cage/Slots Operations and Count Room personnel
- Changes out damaged boxes/bags
- All count team members organize the revenue drop
- Promotes and demonstrates Spectacular service towards co-workers and TGC Agents
- Assist in the training of new personnel
- Other duties as assigned
- Performs all duties within the rules and regulations of Cage Slots Operations consistent with Gaming Ordinance, State Compact, Appendix X & X2, MICS, and employee handbook
- Ability to handle large volume cash transactions and documents regularly and accurately
- Cash handling experience or cage experience
- Ability to use Ten-Key
- Good math skills
- Able to work closely others other in a team situation
- Able to follow directions
- Basic computer knowledge
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
