General Position Summary
Provides Spectacular Customer Service, to guests during all interactions. Mixes and serves drinks to guests and servers. Sets-up breaks down bar service during normal shift.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Food handlers card required within 30 days of employment. Must successfully obtain a TIPS card within 60 days of employment.
Job Conditions
Working conditions include working in the bar during busy times of the day and night, noisy and crowded conditions. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must make decisions regarding intoxicated guests in conjunction with policies.
Physical Requirements
Has the ability to lift 75 lbs. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and have manual and finger dexterity for transactions.

- Mixes and serves beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to guests and prepares for servers
- Strives to exceed guests’ expectations and demonstrates a pleasant, fun and professional demeanor
- Responsible to keep supplies stocked during shift
- Follows Port Madison Enterprises’ (PME) policies and procedures and health and safety standards
- Completes cash transactions consistent with PME’s cash handling policies
- Adheres to PME’S dress code standards
- May assist during busy tournaments in an effort to provide service to guests
- During staffing shortages, may assist with food service
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Minimum of one year bartending
- Ability to communicate professionally with both guests and employees
- Organized and able to carry out task at the direction of the supervisor
- Able to work well with others in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect
- Cash handling experience required
- Ability to solve problems effectively
