F&B- Deli Cashier
General Position Summary:
Provides service to guests, (i.e. taking orders for deli, espresso, making change, and answering questions concerning casino food and entertainment).
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and answer questions
- Processes all food revenue transactions for the deli and satellite areas
- Ability to be cross trained to work in the satellite areas
- Provides food service and makes sales to gaming floor guests using the food cart
- Assists guests with comps and food specials
- Stock the condiments and maintains the deli beverage stations
- Maintains the cleanliness of the deli dining and counter areas
Secondary Functions:
- Busses tables in the deli and clears Poker buss cart
- Assists staff as needed with guest service
- Performs cash handling tasks consistent with the F&B Cash Handling Procedures
- Performs opening and closing procedures as outlined
- Replenishes coffee in the Employee Dining Area, as directed (ie.; late nights)
- Other duties deemed necessary

- Able to handle disputes and problem solve conflicts and recognizes when to involve management
- Good math skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with a number of people at one time
- Ability to take directions and complete tasks quickly
- Ability to work as a team
Education and/or Experience:
Must be 16 years of age and enrolled in high school or hold high school diploma or GED. Cashiers selling food on the gaming floor must be at least 18 years of age. 1 year of cashier or customer service related experience, preferred.
Job Conditions:
Working conditions include working in all areas of the Deli during busy times of the day and night, smoky, noisy and crowded conditions. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25 lbs. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time. Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computers, adding machines and routine paperwork.
