We are seeking a Seafood Manager to join our team at Port Lobster. Port Lobster is a Kennebunkport based Seafood and lobster retail store and shack at 122 Ocean Avenue. Our commitment to quality and freshness has made us a local favorite.
Requirements
- Certified HACCP or have the qualifications to get one-we will facilitate
- Buying and Selling lobsters and seafood
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Experience with inventory control and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Grading and packing Lobsters for Shipping.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the seafood department, ensuring product quality and freshness.
- Lead and train staff on seafood preparation, presentation, and customer service best practices.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering and receiving products to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Handle cash register operations and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff to create a high-performing team.
