The position requires working independently with periodic coordination among team members, driven by clear performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy forklifts to load and unload trucks safely
• Inspect forklifts and equipment regularly to maintain safe operation
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies during all operations
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate cargo handling and maximize efficiency
• Report equipment issues promptly and assist with basic maintenance tasks
• Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication and professionalism

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in heavy forklift operation
• Forklift Operator Certification (if applicable)
• TWIC card is a must
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
• Good time management and ability to work efficiently without direct supervision
• Basic math skills inventory counts and measurements
• Report to work on time and as scheduled as attendance and punctuality is necessary
• Ability to problem solve and be self -motivated
• Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times
