Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities, including preparing materials and setting up learning stations.
- Support students with special needs, including those with disabilities.
- Overseeing students upon arrival and dismissal
- Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and positive behavior.
- Act as a hall monitor during class periods
- May be asked to issue supplies, make copies and monitor visitors upon entering the building.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / HSE Diploma required
- NYSED fingerprinting required
Pay: $26,054.00 per year
