Easterseals PORT Health, a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia, is seeking a dedicated, people-oriented IPS Employment Team Leader to join our team. You’ll play a critical role in carrying out that mission by helping people with mental health and substance use challenges achieve their goals. This community-based role offers a flexible Monday–Friday schedule, a competitive salary, and requires travel throughout Columbus county.
Full-Time Schedule:
The IPS Team Leader’s primary duties are to provide leadership in direct service for the IPS team, to ensure that jobs are secured for individuals with disabilities who are served and supported by the IPS team. Ensure that services are provided according to the service definition and IPS Fidelity Model. In this position, the IPS Team Leader serves as an integral part of the management team in the daily operation of the supported employment program.

The IPS Team Leader’s primary duties are to provide leadership in direct service for the IPS team, to ensure that jobs are secured for individuals with disabilities who are served and supported by the IPS team. Ensure that services are provided according to the service definition and IPS Fidelity Model. In this position, the IPS Team Leader serves as an integral part of the management team in the daily operation of the supported employment program.
- Provide leadership in the implementation of direct services and supports for the IPS team.
- Clinical supervision and oversight to all IPS employment staff for each individual receiving the IPS employment services.
- Provide training for all members of the IPS team prior to services being delivered and/or ensure that all required training is in compliance with the service definition, rules and regulation, and Easterseals PORT Health policy.
- Assist individuals in mastering skills and meeting production standards. Employment Support Professionals may be required to assist in performing an individual’s job duties to maintain necessary production as well as model work behavior.
- Facilitate collaboration with Vocational Rehabilitation services as needed to ensure seamless service provision.
- Supervisory Responsibility: Supervise IPS Team providing oversight of the programs’ staff, including but not limited to: recruitment, screening, hiring, training, and supervision.

- Competitive hourly rate: : $19-$22 an hr. depending on experience and education

- Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university accredited by an entity approved by USDOE or CHEA which meets the criteria for MHQP status.
- Knowledge of the labor market and community service agencies.
- Previous work experience with comprehensive clinical assessments (CCA’s) and writing Personalized Plans (PCP’s)
- Skilled in developing and writing task analysis, systemic job training, and supported employment.
- Must hold current, unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license and valid vehicle insurance.
- Must be willing to support this community-based program and travel throughout the assigned delivery area as needed.
