Port City Concrete is a well established and growing company in Charleston and greater Charleston. Our team comprises several Quality Assurance Technicians and is outfitted with a fully functioning laboratory. This position will come with a company vehicle, phone, and fuel card. All necessary devices and training will be provided.

All necessary devices and training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products using precision measuring instruments.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends or deviations from quality standards.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications and industry regulations.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Skills:
- Proficient in using slump cone, roll-a-meter, and other ASTM instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis techniques.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Note: Experience in a concrete ready mix manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Pay rate is based on experience—minimum of one year experience in the concrete ready mix or related industry.

Sign-On Bonus:
- $500 after 90 days of employment
- $500 after 6 months of employment
- $1000 after 1 year of employment
