What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts position at Port City Church?
Port City Church is a growing multi-site, gospel-centered church on mission, located along the beautiful lakeshore of Lake Michigan. We exist to reach our city, restore the broken, and release people with purpose.
We are seeking a Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts who will play a key leadership role in shaping the spiritual culture and worship life of our church. This leader will help create environments where people encounter Jesus, while also developing teams, raising up leaders, and building a worship ministry that multiplies influence beyond the weekend service.
Port City is in a season of significant momentum and growth, experiencing over 15% growth in each of the past two years. As we look ahead, we are preparing to launch a new student ministry center and our third campus in the fall of 2027 - continuing to expand our reach as we pursue the people and places God is calling us to.
This is a unique opportunity for a leader who is passionate about the gospel, energized by growth, and eager to help build a church that is reaching people, restoring lives, and sending others out on mission.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead all corporate worship experiences at our Cloverville Campus (Thursday Nights and Sunday Mornings)
- Develop a pipeline of volunteers: recruit, train, develop, and release
- Shepherd and care for worship ministry volunteers and the broader church body.
- Create tracks, stems, etc.
