RN – Day Shift
Location: Port Arthur, TX
Schedule: Day Shift
Status: Full-Time
Pay: $36–$40/hour
We’re hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team on day shift!
This role is a key part of providing consistent care throughout the day. You’ll work closely with residents, nursing staff, providers, and leadership to stay on top of changes in condition, treatments, medications, and the day-to-day needs of your residents.
What this role looks like
- Providing direct nursing care throughout the day
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitoring residents and responding to changes in condition
- Communicating with physicians, families, and other members of the care team
- Supporting CNAs and working together to keep resident care on track
- Completing documentation accurately and timely
- Assisting with admissions, discharges, and changes in care as needed
What you’ll be responsible for
- Assessing residents and following individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Identifying and communicating changes in resident condition
- Providing direction and support to nursing staff
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Communicating resident updates with families, providers, and leadership
- Following facility policies and nursing standards
What we are looking for
- Active RN license in Texas
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities throughout the shift
- Dependable and resident-focused approach to care
