DESCRIPTION
Perform cleaning, custodial, and light maintenance work; requires skills and abilities in working
with the public. Perform janitorial and light maintenance tasks proficiently and independently.
Keep the district’s school buildings in such a state of operation excellence that they present no
problems or interruptions to the educational program.
QUALIFICATIONS
Individuals assigned to this position are expected to utilize any of the janitorial equipment
authorized and available to perform proficiently and independently those assignments of a
regular and recurring nature.
Need basic knowledge of custodial methods and equipment. Ability to lift 50 pounds
frequently and occasionally 90 pounds. Ability to interpret instructions and solve problems.
Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with other employees,
parents, and students where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality in all matters pertaining to students, parents,
staff, and program.
Perform other work and duties as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff,
students, and visitors.
Responding to stressful situations appropriately.
Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
All positions are on site and in person only.
Wages – $23.60 to $29.26 DOE
Benefits - Medical, Retirement, Basic Life/AD&D, Basic Long-Term Disability, FSA & HSA. Any employee
anticipated to work at least 630 hours in the school year is eligible for benefits.
