Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Overview

Join our growing team at Port Angeles Composite LLC as a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, where you will play a key role in coordinating accurate receiving, shipping and inventory of manufactured parts/received materials per customer requirements. This is an entry level position

We’re looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to follow precise procedures. This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) hours subject to change based on department needs.

Duties

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with supplier documentation

Prepare, package, label, and ship parts and finished goods according to customer and company requirements

Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock rotation, system transactions, and month-end counts

Enter receiving and shipping transactions into the ERP system and ensure proper document retention

Support production through kitting, staging, and timely material availability

Place orders for consumable inventory as needed to maintain proper stock to support the production floor (min/max levels)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory control preferred
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Computer Skills (comfortable in Microsoft office and data entry in Excel)
• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and personalities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Forklift certification required (or the ability to obtain after hire)
• Legible handwriting required

Work Environment & Requirements

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and assist with heavier items as needed
• Must wear required PPE
