Experienced General Sales Manager

Porsche White Plains, a proud member of the Pepe Auto Group, is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to lead one of the Northeast’s premier Porsche sales organizations.

This role is designed for a proven automotive leader with a passion for developing high-performing teams, driving profitability, and delivering a world-class luxury ownership experience. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who thrives on accountability, embraces performance metrics, and inspires excellence throughout every aspect of the sales operation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the sales management and sales consultant teams.
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Establish a culture built on accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor daily sales performance, lead management, closing ratios, and salesperson productivity.
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and performance reviews.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top sales talent.
• Ensure CRM processes, follow-up activities, and customer communications meet dealership expectations.
• Partner with Marketing to maximize lead generation, traffic, and conversion opportunities.
• Oversee vehicle ordering, inventory management, allocations, aging inventory, and merchandising.
• Work collaboratively with Finance to maximize profitability while maintaining a premium customer experience.
• Maintain strong relationships with Porsche Cars North America and other manufacturer representatives.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, manufacturer, and dealership policies.
• Analyze business trends, market conditions, and competitive activity to develop effective sales strategies.
• Deliver an ownership experience that reflects the prestige and standards of the Porsche brand.

Requirements

• Prior luxury automotive sales managerial experience required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of inventory control
• Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, ADP/CDK, CRM)
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Pay: $225,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
