Porsche New Orleans is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our growing team in Metairie, Louisiana. If you have automotive parts experience, enjoy providing exceptional customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians and retail customers in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts and accessories.
- Accurately process parts requests, invoices, and special orders.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by receiving, stocking, and organizing parts.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Work closely with the Service Department to ensure technicians receive parts in a timely manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to parts inquiries professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department.
- Follow dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and other departmental projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive parts experience is preferred; dealership experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency; dealership management system experience (CDK experience is a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
