Maintenance Electrician

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical infrastructure, supporting our operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from routine maintenance to complex renovations, in a fast-paced environment that values proactive problem-solving and technical mastery. 1st and 2nd shift positions are available and will be assigned based on experience and demand. 48hr work week is expected. We have two teams of maintenance professionals; 1st Shift (4:30am-1:00pm), 2nd Shift (Noon-8:30pm). This position is a stepping stone for long term success and managerial growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage circuits, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, schematics, and blueprint reading to diagnose faults accurately.

• Install, modify, and upgrade electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and control systems for various equipment and building infrastructure.

• Conduct renovation projects on existing facilities by updating or replacing outdated wiring and electrical components while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance.

• Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage wiring.

• Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills and saws; and testing instruments like ohmmeters.

• Knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards related to high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
