Porch Light Health is seeking a highly organized temporary worker to support several strategic growth initiatives during a temporary staffing gap. This is an 8-week project focused on research, lead generation, and opportunity identification across business development and grant funding efforts. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Lead Research
- Identify and research potential referral sources, including private practices, behavioral health providers, community organizations, and healthcare partners.
- Build and organize contact lists for import into Porch Light Health's CRM.
- Gather key contact information, specialties, locations, and referral potential.
- Identify community-based organizations in rural and frontier markets that may be appropriate locations for educational materials and outreach efforts.
- Research churches, community centers, food banks, libraries, recovery organizations, social service agencies, and other community touchpoints.
- Develop organized market-by-market outreach lists.
- Research federal, state, local, and private foundation grant opportunities aligned with Porch Light Health's mission and services.
- Summarize funding opportunities, eligibility requirements, deadlines, award amounts, and application considerations.
- Maintain a grant opportunity tracking spreadsheet and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit.
- Strong research and organizational skills.
- Experience with business development, healthcare, nonprofit, public health, or grant research preferred.
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and internet-based research tools.
- Experience identifying and evaluating grant opportunities strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Duration: Approximately 8 weeks.
- Hours: Flexible; estimated 15–25 hours per week (adjust as needed).
