The Role
PORAC is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Multimedia Production Assistant to support the organization’s growing social and digital communications program. This role will allow you to capture, edit and create high-production-value video and photo content that reaches tens of thousands of law enforcement professionals and decision-makers across California and beyond. What you post, edit, and produce matters here. Our digital content helps shape how officers stay informed, how policies are understood, and how real stories get told.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and strong storyteller with solid technical skills, good judgment, and an understanding of how digital content shapes public perception. You might not have decades of experience – but you do know how content moves online, how video grabs attention, and how storytelling builds trust. You’re serious about production quality. You know how to shoot clean video, capture usable audio, and edit content that looks polished and intentional. You’re comfortable with gear, software, and AI-powered tools, and you enjoy staying ahead of new digital content trends.
