Job Summary
Poquet Auto is seeking a dependable Full-Time Vehicle Runner to join our team in Golden Valley, MN. This role supports the service department by transporting vehicles to and from the Golden Valley and Lakeville locations, assisting technicians and advisors, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role will also involve training as a Service Advisor Assistant, which will require answering phones and making customer appointments. This role requires safe driving habits, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and transport customer and company vehicles between business locations.
- Organize and park vehicles efficiently in the lot or service areas
- Conduct visual checks of tires, fluids, and lights, reporting any issues to management
- Assist service advisors and technicians with daily tasks, including answering customer calls and making appointments
- Pick up and deliver vehicles to customers when needed
- Shuttle customers to and from the facility (if required)
- Assist with parts pickup and delivery
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous automotive or dealership experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to perform light physical activity, including walking, standing, and lifting
Work Schedule
- Full-time, hourly wage (based on experience)
- Hours: M-Th 9am – 6pm, F 9am – 5pm
