What are the responsibilities and job description for the MASTER TECHNICIAN position at Pops Automotive?
Pop’s Automotive is looking for a highly skilled Master Technician who takes pride in doing things the right way.
You’re the kind of technician who keeps learning, takes ownership of your work, and enjoys solving problems others may avoid. You care about accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and leaving every vehicle better than you found it.
You work well with others, share what you know, and understand that a strong shop is built on trust, teamwork, and accountability. You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room—you let your work, your consistency, and your character speak for themselves.
In this role, you’ll:
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues
- Perform advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics
- Complete quality repairs efficiently and accurately
- Communicate clearly with the service team
- Help mentor and develop other technicians
- Contribute to a clean, professional, team-focused shop
We offer a place where your experience is respected, your ideas are heard, and your growth matters. If you’re looking for a shop that values craftsmanship, honesty, continuous improvement, and doing right by the customer, we’d like to meet you.
We value depth of experience, sound judgment, and the ability to diagnose problems independently over certifications alone. The right person has developed their skills through years of real-world work, continuous learning, and tackling increasingly complex repairs.
Apply today and tell us what kind of work environment helps you do your best work.
