Job Description:
Instructors at Popplers music establish their own schedule to instruct students of all ages. Lessons are predominately taught during regularly scheduled business hours of 9 am to 6 pm M-F and Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct guitar lessons to students of all ages with a focus on technique, performance, music theory and sight reading.
Schedule:
- You can establish your own schedule based on the time requirements of the students and store business hours.
- Popplers provides quality lesson rooms with the necessary pianos and supplies.
Education/Qualifications:
- Undergraduate music education degree preferred but not required. Preference will be given to individuals who apply with a college degree in music.
- Guitar Playing experience and skills are required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a comprehensive instructional environment.
- Professional demeanor.
