Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their event experience
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including managing equipment, decorations, and seating arrangements
- Monitor guest behavior to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, addressing conflicts promptly and professionally
- Handle cash transactions accurately during ticketing or merchandise sales
- Engage with guests of all ages, including working with children and providing guest services tailored to diverse audiences
- Support public speaking efforts by providing information or directions to attendees as required
Experience
- Previous experience in events management or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are key!
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations with confidence and tact
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience in guest services or working with children enhances your ability to connect with diverse audiences
- Knowledge of food service operations or hospitality environments is a plus
