Poppis Pizza is looking for a dependable, hardworking Pizza & Grill Cook to join our team in Grand Blanc.
We're a busy, family-owned restaurant known for our handcrafted pizzas, smash burgers, subs, wings, cheesy bread, fresh salads, and friendly customer service. We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in preparing great food, and works well as part of a team.
Experience with pizza is preferred, but we are willing to train someone with solid restaurant experience and the right attitude.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas, smash burgers, subs, wings, salads, cheesy bread, and other menu items
- Cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Stretch dough and prepare pizza toppings
- Operate grill, fryer, pizza oven, and other kitchen equipment safely
- Prep ingredients before each shift
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Help with inventory and stocking
- Work efficiently during lunch and dinner rushes
- Support teammates to provide outstanding service
Qualifications
- Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
- Pizza, grill, or sandwich experience is a plus
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable with reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
