About the Role:
Poplars Pizza and Catering Inc is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Pizzeria Worker to join our team in Buffalo, NY! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble pizzas and menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Operate pizza ovens, dough equipment, and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently
- Take and process customer orders accurately in-person and by phone
- Assist with catering orders, including food prep and packaging for events
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, prep area, and front-of-house
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a pizzeria, restaurant, or food service environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment under pressure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
