OBJECTIVE
The Fashion Advisor / Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience while actively driving sales and contributing to store goals.
This is a sales-focused position.
We are looking for someone who is confident approaching customers, understanding their needs, recommending products, styling complete looks, and helping turn conversations into sales.
The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, competitive in a positive way, and comfortable working in a fast-paced mall environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively approach and engage customers throughout the sales floor
- Build genuine connections and understand each customer’s needs, occasion, style, and preferences
- Recommend products confidently and guide customers through the shopping experience
- Create personalized styling suggestions and complete looks
- Encourage fitting-room try-ons and provide attentive fitting-room service
- Use product knowledge to explain fit, fabric, shaping features, sizing, and styling options
- Drive sales and consistently work toward daily and monthly store goals
- Use upselling and cross-selling naturally to increase units per transaction and average order value
- Build customer relationships that encourage repeat visits
- Follow up with returning and VIP customers when appropriate
- Learn new arrivals, promotions, best sellers, and store priorities quickly
- Maintain strong knowledge of individual and team sales performance
- Work closely with store leadership to identify sales opportunities and improve results
- Support visual merchandising, replenishment, shipment processing, and inventory organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor and fitting-room environment
- Accurately process POS transactions, exchanges, and store credits according to company policy
- Take initiative during slower periods instead of waiting to be assigned tasks
- Support store social content and brand initiatives when needed
- Contribute to a positive, ambitious, team-oriented store culture
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 1 year of retail sales experience preferred
- Fashion, mall, beauty, luxury, commission-based, or high-volume retail experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability or strong desire to meet and exceed sales goals
- Confident starting conversations with customers
- Comfortable recommending additional products and closing sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, outgoing, positive, and professional
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Learns quickly and adapts easily
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Comfortable receiving sales coaching and feedback
- Passion for fashion, styling, and customer experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced mall environment
- Able to work independently while contributing to team goals
- Must be comfortable standing and moving throughout the entire shift
Bilingual candidates are a plus, but not required.

SEASONAL AVAILABILITY
This position is being hired for the Holiday Season, with the possibility of continuing based on performance and business needs.
Candidates should have flexible availability, including:
- Weekends
- Holidays
- Black Friday weekend
- December holiday shopping periods
- Evening shifts when needed
Holiday availability is an important part of this position.

Base Pay: $16.00/hour
