Restaurant Crew Member (Day Time)

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Crew Members to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the food service industry, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our organization.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and sales transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining spaces, and supporting kitchen operations as needed.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
• Support team members in various tasks to ensure efficient restaurant operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills.
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and serving in a restaurant or café environment is desirable.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
