What are the responsibilities and job description for the Person In Charge/Shift Leader position at Popeyes - Pop Star Inc.?
The Person in Charge/Shift Leader performs a variety of duties relating to Company Operations including greeting and serving guests, preparing products, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and completing light paperwork. Trains newer or less experienced crew-members in all tasks and responsibilities. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Promotes Company Mission, Vision and Core Values.
- Performs all tasks and responsibilities of a crew-member as outlined in the Crew-member job description.
- Trains newer or less experienced crew-members in their tasks and responsibilities.
- Serves as the point person for any guest complaints, and takes responsibility for the unit in the absence of a Manager or Assistant Manager. Enforces all company policies and procedures and brand standards.
- Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the Popeyes Operations Manual.
- Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Popeyes Operations Manual.
- Performs light paperwork duties as assigned, and all other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Completes online coursework on the Learning Hub as directed.
- Abides by all brand standards and company policies and procedures, including those outlined in the employee handbook.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must have an open availability and be able to run the shift when a manager is not present, as well as complete all PIC job requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Some High school or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
- Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
- Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday.
- Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Salary : $30,500 - $38,700
