Team Member - Service/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Manage customer food orders with professionalism, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including handling kitchen equipment and maintaining food safety standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation, food handling, and cleaning protocols
• Process cash transactions, handle cash register operations, and give correct change using retail math skills
• Support food industry standards by adhering to food safety management practices and proper serving techniques
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent service while managing busy periods effectively
• Assist with bussing tables, sanitation duties, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the dining or retail area

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and operating kitchen or café equipment
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently
• Retail sales experience or grocery store background is a plus for understanding retail math and transaction processing
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
